How to Join the Joint Disaster Medicine and Public Health Ecosystem
The Joint Disaster Medicine and Public Health Ecosystem releases an annual request for proposals inviting organizations to describe capabilities that support the science, education, and operations of disaster health. This annual request typically opens at the beginning of the calendar year. The National Center is looking for organizations that demonstrate successful research, development, and transition of operational capabilities to government and disaster health response stakeholders. These capabilities span technology, business, and policy domains and ensure rapid mobilization of organizational partnerships based on disaster health expertise and experience. Organizations invited to join the Ecosystem stand ready to execute steady-state and response tasking through the establishment of a cooperative agreement with the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine.
