NCDMPH Board of Advisors
As a federal interagency organization, the National Center is governed by a board of advisors comprised of senior executives from across the federal government. The advisory board includes leaders from the U.S. Departments of Defense (DoD), State (DOS), Health and Human Services (HHS), Homeland Security (DHS), Transportation (DoT), and Veterans Affairs (VA). The advisory board is chaired by the sitting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Readiness Policy and Oversight. To ensure proper alignment with the medical and public health priorities of the federal interagency, the National Center’s leadership provides updates to the advisory board on a semi-annual basis, enabling the interagency to expertly guide the strategic direction of the National Center.
