Biography

Norma Quintanilla is the Project Coordinator at the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health, and is responsible for a wide range of disaster health research and educational activities from development, organization and implementation. She assists with scientific, technical and programmatic support services to senior staff. She currently leads the online Disaster Health Core Curriculum at NCDMPH. Norma graduated Magna Cum Laude from George Mason University with a Bachelors in Global and Community Health. Norma completed her graduate degree at Georgetown University. While at Georgetown she conducted research focused on the outbreaks of vector-borne infectious disease following natural disasters.
