Biography

Raphaelle H. Rodzik is a Project Coordinator with the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health (NCDMPH) responsible for a range of research and educational projects, including managing the First Aid for Severe Trauma initiative.

Prior to joining the National Center, Raphaelle worked for three years as an Epidemiologist II in Communicable & Environmental Diseases and Emergency Preparedness at the Tennessee Department of Health, specifically with the Healthcare Associated Infections & Antimicrobial Resistance team (HAI&AR) as a member of the Emerging Infections Program. From 2010-2015, Raphaelle worked at the Johns Hopkins University Department of Emergency Medicine as a Senior Research Program Coordinator. There her focus was influenza-like illness research and surge capacity.

Raphaelle received her Masters of Public Health degree from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in 2009. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with a minor in Social Studies of Medicine from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
