Biography

Dr. Sethi has nearly 20 years of public health experience as a research, monitoring, and evaluation specialist. She currently serves as the Senior Lead Public Health Researcher for the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health (NCDMPH), Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) / Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement for Military Medicine (HJF) in Bethesda, MD.

Prior to this role, Dr. Sethi served as a Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Advisor for Jhpiego, an NGO-affiliate of Johns Hopkins University. While at Jhpiego, she focused on malaria, maternal and newborn health, family planning and HIV in global settings and led the development of results-based information systems; designed and implemented implementation science/research activities and built monitoring, evaluation, and research capacity for staff and stakeholders. She served as the Senior Research Manager for the flagship USAID flagship, Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP) where she oversaw country- and program-level evaluations and research studies. She has led and overseen both health systems and epidemiological research studies in domestic and global settings and served as the principal investigator or co-investigator for 25+ studies.
