NDMS Pilot Program Partners
The Fiscal Year 20 National Defense Authorization Act (FY20 NDAA) articulates that the Pilot will include collaboration with the Secretaries of Veterans Affairs (VA), Health and Human Services (HHS), Homeland Security (DHS), and Transportation (DoT). The FY20 NDAA also states the Pilot will establish partnerships with public, private, and nonprofit health care organizations, institutions, and entities.

An Interagency group (DHS, DoD, DoT, VA, and HHS) was convened and selected five Pilot sites approved by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs: Washington, DC; San Antonio, TX; Sacramento, CA; Omaha, NE; and Denver, CO - An internal DoD NDMS Pilot Program group was established to ensure DoD component equities, capabilities, and considerations are included in Pilot development.
- Civilian healthcare leadership have been engaged with the Pilot and guide its development and implementation
- Engagement with all our partners will evolve and continue throughout the Pilot.
